Social Networking and Women's Health

Social networking sites on women’s health are popping up everywhere.  A popular site for pregnant parents is called WiserTogether (wisertogether.com).  Another one is www.inspire.com. With more than 100,000 members and growing, Inspire provides support by members who share health experiences and treatments with each other.  About 70 associations related to specific diseases partner with this site. A section on women’s health addresses concerns to supplement information from health providers.  The sites are becoming more robust everyday.
